A day in the life | December edition

The holidays can get busy... this month has been filled to the top with things to do.
We are heading home for the holidays and it was hard to
slow down and capture our "a day in the life" but I am so very thankful that I did.

I won't get these mornings back, just the three of us.

The smell of pancakes cooking, the curiosity of a one year old, the sound of giggles
and Christmas music, my husband's embrace after a long night of work, toys
everywhere and little feet pit patting all over the house.

As busy as life gets, we can't forget the moments that mean the most.
These are the simple things that take up the most space in my heart.

Now follow the circle and head over to my sweet friend Jennifer's blog post to see her "a day in the life" here
Don’t forget to give her some love on her facebook page here

Welcome Baby Maxwell

There is nothing better than bringing home your brand new baby.
Nothing better than those sweet noises, that baby smell, tiny smiles, toe curls, little features, soft skin. I could go on and on.

I love that overwhelming love you feel as a new parent, it's really the best feeling.
The Maxwell's welcomed their sweet baby boy home. Only 8 days old.

I hope you enjoy my morning with this sweet family.
Welcome to the World.
Isaiah Maxwell.

Reyes Family

There is something about entering another person's home and photographing
their life, their love. My heart smiles when I am behind the camera and I know
it's because I found my place, it's exactly where I am supposed to be. I am truly
blessed by this gift God has given me.

I am grateful for growth and inspiration, and most of all being able to do what I love.

I hope you enjoy the Reyes family as much as I did. They have such a love for each
other and it was such a joy to capture their moments together, just being them.

The session started off at a toddlers favorite spot... the dog bowls of course ;)
